Fatal Semi-Truck Collision Results in the Death of Dorothy Maxine Collins

85-year-old Dorothy Maxine Collins, of Camden, was fatally injured in an accident Monday afternoon, February 12th. At approximately 2:10 p.m., Ms. Collins was traveling north on U.S. Highway 167 South in El Dorado when she was rear-ended by a northbound semi-truck.

The 18 wheeler collided with Ms. Collins’ 2006 Toyota, forcing her car to the east side of U.S. 167. One other was injured during the accident.

Conditions at the time were said to be dry and clear.
