34-year-old Brenda Morgan (West Helena, AR) and 55-year-old Dorothy Williams (West Helena, AR) were both fatally injured in an accident on Friday, May 5, 2023.
At approximately 8:23 a.m. Ms. Morgan was driving south on U.S. Highway 49 near Southland Road when her vehicle (1994 Cadillac Seville) crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a northbound vehicle (2015 Chevy Tahoe). Dorothy Williams was a passenger in Brenda Morgan’s vehicle when the collision occurred. Both Ms. Morgan and Ms. Williams sustained fatal injuries.
27-year-old Tonya Jones (Helena, AR) and two unidentified minors were traveling in the Chevy vehicle and sustained injuries in the collision. Those injured were transported to Helena Regional Hospital.
