Donald Mannings Fatally Injured After Vehicle Hydroplanes

55-year-old Donald Douglas Mannings (Wilmot, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place in Tillar, Arkansas on Friday, February 22.

At approximately 1:54 p.m. Mr. Mannings and 53-year-old passenger Betty Jean Mooney (Montrose, AR) were traveling south on Highway 65 near the Drew and Desha County Line. Mr. Mannings’ vehicle (1994 Lincoln) hydroplaned and skidded into northbound traffic colliding with the front of a northbound 2005 GMC vehicle. The driver of the GMC, 39-year-old Jeffery Allen Lambert (Dumas, AR), was injured in the accident.

Conditions at the time were rainy and wet.
