Scooter Collision in Hot Springs Proves Fatal

65-year-old Diane M. Catlett (Hot Springs, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.

At approximately 9:51 p.m. Ms. Catlett was the passenger on a scooter (2022 Super Me) traveling south on Central Avenue (State Hwy 7). A southbound vehicle (2012 Nissan Altima) struck Ms. Catlett’s scooter from behind. The collision took place near Corporate Terrace. Ms. Catlett was transported to CHI St. Vincent where she later succumbed to her injuries.

The driver of the scooter, 40-year-old William Edward London (Hot Springs, AR), sustained “significant injuries” and was also transported to CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs. Additional injuries occurred to 25-year-old Alissa Leigh-Ann Ashborn (Hot Springs Village, AR).

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
