Dakota Scoggins Loses Life in Fatal Greenbrier Collision

26-year-old Dakota Scoggins (Maysville, OK) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred in Faulkner County on Monday, December 31.

At approximately 12:13 p.m. Ms. Scroggins was traveling north on U.S. Highway 65 in Greenbrier and attempted to avoid a prior collision. Ms. Scroggins vehicle (2016 Hyundai) swerved into the southbound lane of traffic. Her vehicle was struck on the passenger side by a 2006 Ford traveling south on Highway 65. 42-year-old driver Louis Smith (North Little Rock, AR) was transported to Conway Baptist Hospital with injuries.

Weather conditions at the time of the accident were overcast and road conditions wet.
