Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
28-year-old Dajuan Ricardo Horton (Cordova, TN) and 39-year-old Joe William Smith II (Aledo, TX) were both fatally injured in an accident that took place on Friday, May 22, 2020.
At approximately 5:00 a.m. Mr. Horton was traveling west in the left westbound lane of Interstate 30. Mr. Smith was traveling east in the westbound lanes of I-30 when his vehicle (2019 GMC pick-up truck) collided head-on with Mr. Horton’s vehicle (2020 Toyota PC) near Fulton, Arkansas.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
