I-40 Wreck on Tuesday Morning Proves Fatal

33-year-old Cody Bailey (Van Buren, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

At approximately 9:10 a.m. Mr. Bailey was traveling west on Interstate 40 in Arkansas near Blackwell when his vehicle (2013 GMC Sierra) collided with the rear of a westbound 18-wheeler (2018 Volvo). The tractor-trailer was stopped on I-40 due to an existing accident near mile marker 101 in Conway County.
