18-year-old Chloe Dyanne Bowers (Arkadelphia, AR), 19-year-old Zackary Adam Handley (Amity, AR), and a third unidentified male minor were fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Thursday, September 17, 2020.
Shortly before 7:00 a.m. Mr. Handley, Ms. Bowers, and the third minor were traveling west on Highway 8 West when their vehicle crossed the centerline near Mt. Olive Road. Their vehicle (2002 GMC Envoy) collided head-on with an eastbound 18-wheeler (1995 Western Star).
38-year-old Bradley John Bankhead (Amity, AR) was injured in the accident.
Conditions were reportedly cloudy and dry.
