72-year-old Barry W. Bowman (Horseshoe Bend, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Thursday, July 28, 2022.
At approximately 9:00 a.m. Mr. Bowman was traveling east on State Highway 14 near Newport when his vehicle (2019 Nissan Rogue) reportedly pulled into the path of a southbound vehicle (2022 Dodge Ram) on State Highway 367. The Dodge vehicle was unable to avoid a collision and struck Mr. Bowman’s vehicle on the driver’s side.
72-year-old John O. Bowman (Jonesboro, AR) was a passenger in the Nissan vehicle and sustained injuries in the collision. 23-year-old Luis F. Altimirano Lucas (Frankston, TX) and 45-year-old Mark Davis (Mammoth Springs, AR) were traveling in the southbound Dodge vehicle and sustained injuries in the collision.
