Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
41-year-old Derrick Reeves (Mount Vernon, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Sunday, August 2, 2020.
Shortly before 12:30 p.m. Mr. Reeves was traveling south on State Highway 25 in Cleburne County when his motorcycle (1995 Honda Goldwing) crossed the centerline while attempting to navigate a righthand curve. Mr. Reeve’s motorcycle struck the front of a northbound vehicle (2017 GMC Acadia).
Weather conditions were cloudy and road conditions dry at the time of the accident.
