Ashdown Resident Loses Life in Highway 27 Wreck

75-year-old Peggy S. Lovewell (Ashdown, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Friday, December 20, 2019.

At approximately 9:10 a.m. Ms. Lovewell was driving west on State Highway 27 in Ben Lomond when her vehicle (2007 Toyota Highlander) left the roadway and struck a culvert before overturning.

43-year-old Jason Lovewell (Ashdown, AR) was a passenger in the vehicle and sustained injuries.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
