Arkadelphia Man Fatally Injured On Highway 70 Near Bonnerdale

46-year-old Robert W. Ransom (Arkadelphia, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.

Shortly before 8:00 p.m. Mr. Ransom was walking along the “westbound fogline” of U.S. Highway 70 just east of Bonnerdale. Weather conditions at the time of the accident were reportedly cloudy and road conditions dry. Mr. Ransom was struck by a 2012 Nissan Versa traveling west on Highway 70.

Mr. Ransom was pronounced dead at the scene.
