Fatal Collision on US 79 Near Pine Bluff, AR
49-year-old Andrew Lunsford (White Hall, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Thursday, December 31, 2020.
At approximately 3:45 p.m. Mr. Lunsford was traveling east on Pratt Road in Pulaski County. A 2015 Ford Mustang traveling north on Ironton Road attempted to turn left onto Pratt Road, colliding with the side of a westbound vehicle (2019 Ford E-350 Van). The collision forced the westbound van on Pratt Road across the centerline where it collided with Mr. Lunsford’s vehicle (Toyota Tacoma). Both Mr. Lunsford’s vehicle and the van overturned.
Weather conditions were rainy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
