Mulberry Man Fatally Injured in Motorcycle Collision on Saturday

21-year-old Allan Hickman III (Mulberry, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, July 29, 2023.

At approximately 6:11 p.m. Mr. Hickman III was the passenger on a Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling south on Midland Boulevard in Fort Smith. A vehicle (2002 Ford F-550) traveling north attempted to make a lefthand turn onto North Street turning in front of Mr. Hickman’s motorcycle. Mr. Hickman’s Harley Davidson was forced to collide with the passenger side of the Ford vehicle.

Mr. Hickman III sustained fatal injuries. 53-year-old Jesse Lavielle (Houston) was driving the Harley Davidson motorcycle and sustained injuries in the collision. Mr. Lavielle was transported to a nearby hospital.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
