Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
29-year-old Alfred Darrin Lucas (Dallas, TX) was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, August 13, 2021.
Shortly after 1:30 a.m. Mr. Lucas was traveling south on Interstate 49 in Rogers when his 18-wheeler (2020 Freightliner) left the roadway to the right before striking an embankment and rolling over. The accident occurred near Exit 85 on I-49 SB.
40-year-old Michael Lynn Sasser (Dallas, TX) was a passenger in the vehicle and sustained injuries in the accident. Mr. Sasser was transported with injuries to Mercy Hospital Northwest.
