35-year-old Christopher Elliot (Booneville, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
At approximately 6:40 p.m. Mr. Elliot was the passenger in a vehicle traveling east on Highway 10 just west of Booneville. The vehicle (2015 Jeep) attempted to pass an eastbound 18-wheeler (1993 International TTL). The tractor-trailer turned left onto Phillips Road as Mr. Elliot’s vehicle attempted to pass. The Jeep vehicle collided with the 18-wheeler before leaving the roadway.
33-year-old Jimmy Lee Rhoades, Jr. (Havana, AR) sustained injuries in the collision and was transported with injuries to Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, AR.
