22-year-old Damian Lozoya (Mercedes, TX) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Thursday, February 21.
At approximately 10:58 p.m. Mr. Lozoya was struck by a 2014 Peterbilt semi-truck traveling east in the left lane of Interstate 40 near mile marker 269 in West Memphis. Mr. Lozoya was struck in the left lane of traffic.
Conditions at the time were reportedly wet and rainy.
