Staff Spotlight: Kim Lopez

Since joining Taylor King Law in early 2024, Kim Lopez has been a welcoming  presence for both clients and colleagues.

Her favorite part of the job? Providing more than just legal services. “I’ve learned that we often give emotional support, comfort, and a listening ear to people during some of the most stressful times in their lives,” Kim shares.

Kim recalls a particularly meaningful interaction with a distraught client who needed help with an issue outside the firm’s scope. Instead of turning her away, Kim took the time to listen and even gave the client an attorney referral. “She told me that everyone else had been dismissive and rude. She was so appreciative just to be heard,” Kim reflects.

Outside of work, Kim loves taking walks with her dog, Nova, and indulging in her favorite food—Mexican cuisine. She’s also a big fan of How I Met Your Mother, which she calls her favorite series. And if you’re ever in need of a piano player, Kim’s your go-to; she took lessons for four years!

Kim’s always eager to learn new things. “I’ve always wanted to learn ASL,” she says, highlighting her commitment to connecting with others.

When asked to describe her experience at Taylor King Law, Kim uses three words: fun, rewarding, and welcoming. We’re grateful to have Kim as part of the team!
