Hot Springs Car Crash on Sunday Proves Fatal

An unidentified minor was fatally injured in an accident on Sunday, October 20, 2024.

At approximately 4:18 a.m. the unidentified male minor was a passenger in a vehicle (2017 Nissan Maxima) traveling east on US 270/MLK Expressway in Hot Springs when the vehicle collided with the rear of an eastbound motorcycle (2023 Harley Davidson). The Nissan vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree after colliding with the Harley Davidson. The minor passenger sustained fatal injuries in the crash.

An additional minor passenger sustained injuries in the wreck. Additionally, 18-year-old Rett Williams (Bonnerdale, AR) sustained injuries in the crash. Those injured were transported to CHI St. Vincent and National Park Medical Center.

66-year-old David Green (Rayland, Ohio) was driving the Harley Davidson motorcycle and sustained injuries in the collision.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry at the time of the accident.
