Staff Spotlight: Taylor “McKenzie” Morehead

For over 13 years, Taylor “McKenzie” Morehead has been a disbursement manager at Taylor King Law. Known in the office and by clients as ‘McKenzie’ to avoid confusion with Taylor King himself, McKenzie plays an integral role in our team.

When asked about his dream travel destination, McKenzie shared his fascination with Alaska, captivated by its wildlife, glaciers, and mountains. Outside work, he’s passionate about engaging in apologetic and theological debates, consuming true crime content, and fishing.

His favorite restaurant is Delicious Temptations in Little Rock. His go-to order? “The typical breakfast, but make sure to get the potato casserole.”

One of McKenzie’s most memorable moments at TKL is a funny one—an attorney once rushed to warn him that a client was in the lobby, threatening him. But to his surprise, it turned out to be his grandmother, there to pick him up for lunch!

Throughout his time at the firm, McKenzie has mastered the art of tailoring his approach to phone calls, learning how to handle different clients with care based on the nature of the call and their needs. He describes his experience at Taylor King Law in three words: educational, challenging, and flexible.

One interesting fact about McKenzie that many might not know is that he was once interviewed by a TV news network for his accomplishments in archery!
