Disabled Vehicle on I-30 Results in Fatal Car Wreck

36-year-old Jamekio Williams (North Little Rock, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, September 21, 2024.

At approximately 2:45 a.m. Mr. Williams’ vehicle (2009 Mazda) broke down in the righthand lane of traffic. Mr. Williams exited the vehicle and was “working on the vehicle” outside of it when an eastbound vehicle (2017 Volvo) struck the rear of Mr. Williams’ Mazda. The driver of the Volvo “failed to see” Mr. Williams’ vehicle.

Mr. Jamekio Williams sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
