Heber Springs Collision Claims Life of Calvin Brannon, Jr.

59-year-old Calvin Melton Brannon, Jr. was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, November 3, 2023.

At approximately 9:15 a.m. Mr. Brannon, Jr. was traveling south on State Highway 25 in Heber Springs. A northbound vehicle (2008 Honda CRV) crossed the centerline and collided with Mr. Brannon, Jr.’s vehicle (1969 Ford Pick-up) in the southbound lane of Highway 25. Mr. Calvin Brannon, Jr. sustained fatal injuries in the collision.

A passenger in Mr. Brannon’s vehicle, Remedgina Brannon (Quitman, AR) also sustained injuries in the collision. Additionally, 40-year-old Britteny Barber (Mountain View, AR) sustained injuries in the collision. Those injured were transported to UAMS in Little Rock and Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
