Hwy 70 Wreck Near Lonsdale Claims Hot Springs Woman's Life

21-year-old Annabelle M. Woodlief (Hot Springs, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, June 24, 2023.

At approximately 5:50 a.m. Ms. Woodlief was traveling west on U.S. 70 just east of Lonsdale Cutoff Road when her vehicle (2019 Ford Fiesta) lost control and crossed the centerline. Ms. Woodlief’s vehicle collided with the front end of an eastbound vehicle (2014 Toyota Tundra). Ms. Woodlief sustained fatal injuries in the collision.

46-year-old Kurtis M. Wasson (Hot Springs, AR) was driving the Toyota vehicle and sustained injuries in the collision. Mr. Wasson was transported to CHI St. Vincent’s in Hot Springs.
