Hwy 70 Car Wreck on Tuesday Proves Fatal

25-year-old Elizabeth Danielle Watkins (Conway, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.

At approximately 2:33 a.m. Ms. Watkins was driving east on Highway 70 when her vehicle (2014 Ford Econoline) left the roadway before overturning and striking a tree. 27-year-old Jonathan D. Johnson (Palestine, AR) was a passenger in the vehicle and sustained injuries. Mr. Johnson was transported to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
