Accident Near Lepanto Claims the Life of Aleshia Guerra

39-year-old Aleshia D. Guerra (Lepanto, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, April 22, 2022.

At approximately 6:50 p.m. Ms. Guerra was traveling west on State Highway 140 north of Lepanto along with three unidentified minors. Ms. Guerra was attempting to turn left into a private drive when her UTV (Polaris Ranger) was struck in the eastbound lane by a westbound motorcycle.

23-year-old Xzavier D. Reed (Jonesboro, AR) was traveling several vehicles behind Ms. Guerra and entered the eastbound lane of traffic to pass several vehicles when his motorcycle (Suzuki GSX R1000) collided with Ms. Guerra’s UTV as she was attempting to turn left.

Ms. Guerra sustained fatal injuries. Mr. Reed, as well as three unidentified minors traveling with Ms. Guerra, sustained injuries in the collision.

Those injured were transported with injuries to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, TN.
