Pedestrian Struck on S Thompson St in Springdale on Tuesday

48-year-old Emma Rivera Octaviano (Springdale, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

At approximately 8:43 a.m. Ms. Octaviano was attempting to cross S Thompson Street (U.S. 71B) near S Pleasant Street when was struck by a northbound vehicle (2016 GMC 3500) in the outside lane of traffic.

Ms. Octaviano was transported with injuries to Washington Regional Medical Center where she later succumbed to her injuries.
