Keven Sandoval Loses Life in 4-Vehicle Wreck on I-49

22-year-old Keven Sandoval (Springdale, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, May 7, 2021.

At approximately 10:14 p.m. Mr. Sandoval was a passenger traveling south on Interstate 49 near Lowell when a vehicle (2017 Ford) traveling north in the southbound lanes of traffic collided head-on with Mr. Sandoval’s vehicle (2013 Honda).

The Ford vehicle traveling the wrong-way first sideswiped a southbound 18-wheeler (2020 Kenworth) before colliding head-on with Mr. Sandoval’s vehicle. The Ford vehicle then collided head-on with a third southbound vehicle (2006 Acura).

22-year-old Jose Guzman (Springdale, AR) was driving the Honda vehicle at the time of the accident and sustained injuries in the collision.

27-year-old Brett Glenn (Springdale, AR) and 27-year-old Isabel Thomas (Springdale, AR) were both traveling in the southbound Acura vehicle and sustained injuries in the collision.

Those injured were transported with injuries to Mercy Hospital in Rogers.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
