Woman Struck on Highway 167 in Cave City
62-year-old Gary Eugene Rogers was fatally injured in an accident on Thursday, April 22, 2021.
At approximately 10:25 a.m. Mr. Rogers was traveling north on State Highway 229 in Dallas County when his vehicle crossed the centerline. Mr. Rogers’ vehicle (2007 Ford F-150) struck the front bumper “in a side-swipe manner” of a southbound heavy-duty truck (2005 Sterling). Mr. Rogers’ vehicle left the roadway before overturning.
Weather conditions were cloudy and road conditions dry.
