4-Car Accident in Hot Springs Claims One Life, Injures Four

32-year-old Leslie Ann Roberts (Hot Springs, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Monday, March 15, 2021.

At approximately 2:38 p.m. Ms. Roberts was traveling north on Thornton Ferry Road in Hot Springs when her vehicle (2009 Mercury) crossed the centerline near Westpine Drive. Ms. Roberts’s vehicle struck the front of a southbound vehicle (2005 Ford) before striking the rear of a northbound vehicle (1997 Mercury SED) and overturning.

A fourth vehicle (2005 Lincoln Navigator) traveling south on Thornton Ferry Road was involved in the collision.

75-year-old Gary A. Adkins (Hot Springs, AR), 64-year-old Donna Marie Adkins (Hot Springs, AR), 78-year-old James E. Dodd (Hot Springs, AR), and 75-year-old Barbara Dodd (Hot Springs, AR) were involved in the accident and sustained injuries. Those injured were transported to St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
