Woman Struck on Highway 167 in Cave City
34-year-old Haley N. Mitchell (Conway, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Thursday, November 5, 2020.
Shortly before 8:00 p.m. Ms. Mitchell was driving west “on the eastbound side” of U.S. Highway 64 near Carroll Road in Vilonia when her vehicle struck an eastbound vehicle head-on. Ms. Mitchell’s vehicle (2017 Nissan Sentra) spun clockwise and the eastbound vehicle (2015 Buick Encore) spun clockwise before turning on its side.
58-year-old Cynthia L. Ellis (Cabot, AR) was driving the eastbound vehicle at the time of the accident and transported with injuries to Baptist Health Medical Center in Conway.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
