Texarkana Motorcycle Crash Claims the Life of Phillip Burnett

50-year-old Phillip D. Burnett (Texarkana, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Tuesday, July 7, 2020.

Shortly before 2:30 p.m. Mr. Burnett was traveling north on East Street (Highway 71) near the intersection with Division Street (Highway 196). A southbound vehicle (2003 Nissan Altima) entered the turn lane to turn east onto Division Street and turned into the path of Mr. Burnett’s motorcycle (1996 Suzuki). Mr. Burnett’s motorcycle impacted the Nissan vehicle.

Conditions were reportedly cloudy and dry.
