47-year-old William J. Meyers (Hot Springs, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Thursday, August 1, 2019.
Shortly before 5:00 p.m. Mr. Meyers was a passenger in a vehicle traveling south on Highway 7 (Central Avenue) in Hot Springs. Mr. Meyer’s vehicle (2017 Kia Soul) was struck head-on by a northbound vehicle (2000 Chevrolet Suburban) that crossed the centerline and turn lane before striking Mr. Meyer’s vehicle.
30-year-old Noah T. Peabody (Hot Springs, AR) was driving the northbound vehicle that crossed the centerline.
46-year-old Michelle Meyers (Hot Springs, AR) was driving the vehicle Mr. Meyers was a passenger in, and 20-year-old Joseph Richards (Hot Springs, AR) was also a passenger in the vehicle.
Mr. Peabody, Ms. Meyers, and Mr. Richards were all injured in the wreck.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
