Arkadelphia Man Fatally Injured in Highway 8 Accident

55-year-old Charles Edward Francis was fatally injured in an accident on State Highway 8 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas on Thursday, May 24. At approximately 1:11 p.m., Mr. Francis’ vehicle, a 1998 Toyota, was eastbound on State Highway 8 when his vehicle crossed into the westbound lanes of the road and into the path of a westbound Freightliner tractor-trailer. Mr. Francis’ vehicle then left the roadway and was partially ejected.

Conditions at the time were reportedly clear and dry.
