A 16-year-old lost his life following a one-car accident on Arkansas Highway 80 East in Scott County, shortly after 7:30 a.m. on Friday, March 2nd. The teenager, whose name has not been released, was in a 2002 Ford when he lost control on a curve along the highway in Danville. According to reports, his vehicle left the roadway, struck a mound of dirt and rolled before colliding with a tree.
Conditions at the time of the accident were clear and dry.
