High-Speed Wreck Claims 21-Year-Old's Life

21-year-old Zachery Brooks (Bono, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Saturday night, March 30, 2019.

At approximately 8:46 p.m Mr. Brooks was traveling north on Highway 63 near Sedgwick and the Cache River Bridge. 54-year-old William Brooks (Bono, AR) was also traveling north on Highway 63. Both William Brooks and Zachery Brooks were traveling “at a high rate of speed.” Zachery attempted to veer from right to left across all lanes of traffic. William Brooks’ vehicle (2018 Ford F-150) struck the drivers side of Zachery Brooks’ vehicle (2004 Jeep Liberty.)

Those injured were transported to Region One in Memphis.

Conditions at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry.
