23-year-old William Hiett (Southside, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Thursday, September 3, 2020.
Shortly after 12:00 p.m. Mr. Hiett was traveling south on Highway 167 (Batesville Boulevard) between Southside and Huff when his vehicle (1999 GMC pick-up truck) failed to negotiate a right-hand curve and left the roadway. Mr. Hiett’s vehicle struck a private drive before becoming airborne and overturning.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
