71-year-old Ursulo Perez-Munoz (Gillham, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.

At approximately 5:06 a.m. Mr. Perez-Munoz was traveling north on U.S. Highway 71 when his vehicle (2000 Dodge Neon) crossed the centerline between De Queen and Gillham. Mr. Perez-Munoz’s vehicle collided with a southbound vehicle (2015 Dodge Dart) in the southbound lane.

44-year-old Timothy Thornton (Gillham, AR) was injured in the accident and transported with injuries to Howard Memorial Hospital.

Weather conditions were cloudy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
