Two Car Collision at 6th & Broadway Results in Pedestrian’s Loss of Life in Downtown Little Rock

A pedestrian was fatally injured Monday morning, February 5th, when two cars collided at Sixth Street and Broadway, in downtown Little Rock.

 

Little Rock police responded to an accident at 10:50 a.m. and found that 47-year-old Maria Borja, of Alexander, had been struck by a vehicle. She was transported to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

 

A Nissan Sentra, driven by 25-year-old Kaleb Abram, and a Chevrolet Cruze, driven by 23-year-old Robert McFarlane, collided at the intersection of Sixth Street and Broadway. Ms. Borja was struck as she stood on the southwest corner of the intersection.

 

Conditions at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry.
