Collision in Scott Claims One Life, Injures Another

68-year-old Thomas Price (North Little Rock, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, September 16, 2022.

Mr. Price was traveling west on Bevis Road in Scott approaching State Highway 15. Mr. Price’s vehicle (2010 Chevy Impala) failed to stop at the intersection and crossed State Highway 15 in front of a northbound vehicle.

The northbound vehicle (2015 Chevy Malibu) struck Mr. Price’s vehicle on the driver’s side. Both vehicles left the roadway following the collision.

70-year-old Deborah Smith was driving the northbound vehicle and sustained injuries in the collision. Ms. Smith was transported to Baptist Springhill in North Little Rock. Mr. Price was transported to UAMS in Little Rock where he later succumbed to his injuries.
