Large Rock in Road Leads to Fatal Motorcycle Wreck

53-year-old Stephanie Lynn Bay (Mountain Home, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, August 19, 2023.

At approximately 6:00 p.m. Ms. Bay was the passenger on a Honda motorcycle (2008) traveling north on State Highway 341 in Lone Rock, Arkansas. 55-year-old Joe Deen (Mountain Home, AR) was driving when the motorcycle “struck a large rock in the roadway” causing the motorcycle to lose control and leave the roadway.

Ms. Bay sustained fatal injuries in the collision and Mr. Deen was transported with injuries to Baxter Health in Mountain Home.
