41-year-old Sara Recopalchi-Hernand (Green Forest, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Sunday, January 26, 2020.

Shortly after 2:00 a.m. Ms. Recopalchi-Hernand was the passenger in a vehicle traveling east on Highway 62 between Green Forest and Berryville when the vehicle (2004 Honda CRV) left the roadway and struck a culvert before becoming submerged in water.

54-year-old Victor Gonzalez-Castro (Green Forest, AR) and 25-year-old Kimberly Barrios-Cifuentes (Green Forest, AR) were both in the vehicle at the time of the accident and transported with injuries to Mercy Hospital in Berryville.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry at the time of the accident.
