When Do Car Wrecks Happen the Most?
Welcoming Russell Winburn to our dedicated team of attorneys at Taylor King Law.
We’re excited to announce that Russell officially joined the Taylor King law team in January of 2024.
Russell Winburn has been practicing law in Arkansas for 35 years. After attending college at Hendrix in Conway, Russell obtained his law degree at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
Additionally, Russell has obtained degrees from the University of Colorado in Boulder and Yale University in Connecticut.
Before joining Taylor King Law, he served as a partner at the Odom Law Firm. Prior to the Odom Firm, Russell was the 19th Judicial District’s Deputy Prosecuting Attorney.
Russell has been associated with the Arkansas Bar Association, American Bar Association, Washington County Bar Association, American Association for Justice, the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America, Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has been listed in the National Trial Lawyers Top 100, named to the Mid-South Super Lawyers, as well as asked to present at the Midwest Asbestos Litigation Conference.
Russell handles an extensive amount of product liability work, in addition to medical malpractice. “Within my practice, the thing I find most rewarding is that I’m helping to make people safer.”
When companies ignore regulations, skirt rules, or manufacture products that harm people, Russell finds meaning in holding those companies accountable. “By holding those companies accountable, I’m helping other people not to get injured.”
Russell’s excited to join what he describes as a top-notch team of attorneys and support staff. “I know Taylor to be an honest man. I know that he cares about his community, his family, and his state.”
Joining the Taylor King Law team means even more opportunity for TKL and for Russell to help those injured in Arkansas.
Russell is joining our team in Northwest Arkansas, a place he loves – “what’s not to love about Northwest Arkansas?”
He moved to Fayetteville in 1984 to attend law school and never left. “I raised my family there, met my wife there. It’s a beautiful place to live, and I’m right there where the Razorbacks are! I’ve been an avid Razorback fan my entire life.”
Northwest Arkansas is an ideal backdrop for Russell to enjoy fishing and hunting. Additionally, he enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren, reading, cooking, and playing the guitar.
