Collision in Camden Proves Fatal on Friday

64-year-old Rebecca Elliott (Magnolia, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, October 8, 2021.

At approximately 9:12 p.m. Ms. Elliott was a passenger in a vehicle (2014 Ford Escape) stopped at the intersection of U.S. 278 at Bradley Ferry Road in Camden. A vehicle (2004 Chevrolet Silverado) traveling west on U.S. 278 collided with the rear of Ms. Elliott’s vehicle while stopped. Ms. Elliott’s vehicle was run off the roadway before coming to a final rest.

65-year-old Michael Elliott (Magnolia, AR) and an unidentified minor were also traveling in the same vehicle as Ms. Elliott and sustained injuries in the collision.

Those injured were transported to Ouachita County Medical Center.
