Head-on Collision in Fort Smith Results in Biker's Death

50-year-old Paul D. Allen (Fort Smith) was fatally injured in a head-on collision on Moody Road in Fort Smith shortly before 10:56 p.m. on Saturday, August 18.

Mr. Allen was traveling west on Moody Road near Painter Lane. Mr. Allen was driving a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle. A second unidentified driver was headed east on Moody Road driving a 1999 Ford F-150. The Ford truck crossed the center line into westbound traffic and struck Mr. Allen’s motorcycle head-on.

Road conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
