Sydney Owens Fatally Struck in Fort Smith
An unidentified minor passenger was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, March 17, 2023.
Shortly before midnight, the minor was a passenger in a vehicle (2010 Buick Lacrosse) traveling west on Airport Road (US 70B) when the vehicle attempted to pass another westbound vehicle in the center turn lane. The vehicle lost control between Hammond Drive and Molly Springs Road and struck a curb before going airborne and colliding with the railroad’s overhead signal.
21-year-old Elizabeth Tabora Hill (Hot Springs, AR) sustained injuries in the collision.
