1st of Two Highway 18 Accidents on Wednesday Proves Fatal

An unidentified male driver was fatally injured in an accident on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. the driver and passenger, 51-year-old Michael Calloway (Paragould, AR) were traveling east on State Highway 18 near Roseland in Mississippi County when their vehicle (1999 Chevy Tahoe) left the roadway before reentering and exiting the roadway again. Their vehicle struck the ditch before overturning.

Mr. Calloway was transported with injuries to Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.
