38-year-old Matthew Shifflett (Little Rock, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.

Shortly before 4:30 p.m. Mr. Shifflett was traveling east on Interstate 40 when his vehicle (2003 GMC Yukon) left the roadway to the left side of the interstate before overturning in the median.

Mr. Shifflett was transported to CHI St. Vincent before succumbing to his injuries.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
