Louisiana Woman in Police Pursuit Fatally Injured in Wreck

71-year-old Martha Saucier (Maryville, LA) was fatally injured in an accident on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.

At approximately 3:01 p.m. Ms. Saucier was traveling north on I-530 south of Little Rock when her vehicle (2008 Toyota Sienna) left the roadway. Ms. Martha Saucier was “actively being pursued by the Pine Bluff Police Department” according to the initial police report.

Ms. Saucier’s vehicle left the roadway before striking a tree near Pratt Road in Pulaski County. Ms. Saucier was transported to UAMS in Little Rock where she later succumbed to her injuries.
