43-year-old Marquita Gantt (Little Rock, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Thursday, August 24, 2023.

At approximately 8:44 p.m. Ms. Gantt was traveling west on Mabelvale Cutoff Road in Mabelvale when her vehicle (2009 Chevrolet) crossed the centerline near Legion Hut Road. Ms. Gantt’s vehicle collided head-on with an eastbound vehicle (2002 Lexus). Ms. Gantt sustained fatal injuries in the collision.

The driver of the eastbound vehicle was injured in the accident. 39-year-old Martin Cole (Little Rock, AR) was transported to UAMS in Little Rock with injuries.
