Car Wreck Report
Fatal Collision on US 79 Near Pine Bluff, AR
19-year-old Lizbeth Diaz (Mexico), 57-year-old Octavio Cruz (Mexico), and 62-year-old Fidel Diaz (Mexico) were fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, June 29, 2024.
At approximately 12:26 p.m. Mr. Diaz was driving south on Blacksnake Road in Hot Springs when he failed to stop at Highway 270. Mr. Diaz’s vehicle (2008 Chevy HHR) collided with a westbound vehicle (2023 Toyota Tundra) on Highway 270. Mr. Diaz, Mr. Cruz, and Ms. Diaz all sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
An unidentified minor passenger was transported with injuries to CHI St. Vincent Hospital.
